This Italian lunch restaurant is located only a short walk north of Schlesisches Tor Station (U1) along Köpenicker Strasse. But of course, we chose to come here by walking from Ostbahnhof (S-Bahn Station about 20 minutes away). We are always partial to the longer walking paths as they often provide us with great urban exploring opportunities.
Salumeria Lamuri’s ambiance is casual and relaxed. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a back room with plenty of seating space, if you get there and find the front area packed with hungry folks. The design elements are somewhat rustic and super cute. They do add significantly to the overall atmosphere. We particularly like the antique painted panels above the bar area. Look up!
The menu is super seasonal and therefore it can vary a lot. Needless to say, everything is made in house. It is also a compact menu, which makes picking a dish easier. We often get turned off by super long menus. We asked for recommendations and were served a perfect Truffle Tagliatelle. YUM! We will certainly come back for more.
Order and pay at the bar area.
