INFARM is an old industrial warehouse transformed into an interesting and innovative indoor farm near Görlitzer Park in Kreuzberg. That’s right! It is an indoor farm where the owners grow a number of microgreens (young, edible greens from various vegetables). Apparently they contain 40 times more vital nutrients when compared to mature plants. Isn’t that the coolest thing ever? On Saturdays INFARM offers a fun brunch alternative in Kreuzberg (using micro greens!).
Not only is it healthy but the dishes are yummy! The menu is somewhat limited, usually with only a couple of options. However, we must say that we ordered everything on the menu and absolutely everything tasted delicious. We particularly loved the beets humus and the lemony white fava beans dish with tons of delicious olive oil. Oh…and the bread is also very tasty!! There is a café that serves good coffee and drinks as well.
To get there you have to walk to the back of the building complex. Very hidden. Very Berlin. Once you get there you’ll be in awe of the mix of industrial green house and super cool laid back café atmosphere. Explore the place and chill out with the regulars. The seating arrangement is not particularly comfy so if you are suffering from those back pains…this is not the place for you. Otherwise we recommend seating in one of the communal tables.
They open once a week for brunch (on Saturdays) and some times they will through special events with some kind of art/performance involved. Talk to them and have them show you around their indoor green terrace. It is truly an experience!
This is a kids friendly place.
What we like to order for brunch at INFARM: Everything on the menu (it varies weekly)!
