Hot Tip, guys! Throughout October (6-30 October) Berlin becomes the Mecca for Photography lovers. This relatively new event (only in its 4th edition as of 2016) has taken the city and Germany by storm and has served as an important platform to promote emerging talents and established artists from all over the world.
This year’s chosen venue for the Berlin Foto Biennale was the stunning Palazzo Italia, in the heart of Berlin, just off Unter den Linden and a short walk from Brandenburg Gate.
Once home to the famous Hotel de Rome, this historical building has been beautifully renovated and now boasts a stunning atrium and spacious exhibition spaces. See map below for location details.

446 Contemporary artists from 41 countries participate in this year’s edition. The highlights are, without a doubt, and one of my idols Steve McCurry (Do not miss Steve McCurry’s solo exhibit “Retrospective” with some of his most inspired photogaphy) and the stunning young talent of Yusuke Suzuki. “The works represent a wide spectrum of styles ranging from documentary and wild life, to portrait and experimental photography”, point the organizers.
