Located off Moritzplatz (an area that is recently becoming a new cultural epicenter in Kreuzberg) you will find Prince Charles Nightclub. Just walk along Prinzenstrasse in the same building complex as Planet Modulor and take the last building driveway down. This will lead you to one of our favorite party venues/night clubs in Berlin.
The club is actually located in the basement of the complex where the old pool-house has been converted into a bar. You can still see the tiles around the bar area. We love it! Another feature that we love are the blinking light bulbs that dot the ceiling (reminiscent of stars). As the DJs spin the blinking light bulbs will also blink with different intervals (or perhaps it was just the alcohol talking).
Anyway, most nights you will encounter hip DJs chilling and spinning for your pleasure. However, the club also features events (like Burgers and Hip Hop or Horse Meat Disco), readings, bar nights among others. As you can imagine the crowd varies according to the event or party. However you are likely to encounter, most of the times, a very chill and friendly atmosphere. Check out their website to find out what parties are going on at the time.
What we like to do at Prince Charles Nightclub: Down on the same level of the sunken bar (inside what used to be an old swimming pool) there is a bench facing the bartenders. We like to sit there with a drink or beer and enjoy the vibe and people watch.
