Here at Awesome Berlin we believe in supporting and nurturing solid local business ideas first. That said, we also welcome the opportunity of partnering with bigger and more consolidated brands that are looking for a trusted partner to tap into a more qualified demographic pool.

To that end, we have written feature articles (on Awesome Berlin and other websites), published very successful social media campaigns (usually with a very high engagement level), authored city guides (both short and extensive) and worked closely with every client from the inception to the delivery of every campaign.

We cover events/festivals, food, bars and nightlife,  art (with a passion for contemporary and street art), architecture, street life, major and small local attractions and sights. In the end, we explore and write about all fun aspects of Berlin life, after all, that’s what being Berlin’s biggest fans mean!

**Please note that we only reserve a very limited number of slots per month for promotional activities. 90%+ of our content is non-sponsored. And it will always be that way. Needless to say, we only partner with brands/businesses that we believe in and admire.

  1. Hey guys,

I would like to tell you about a new touristic product for the exiting city of Berlin.

Just recently, the young company BERLINS TAIGA was founded, offering walking tours in Berlin, that cover a very special part of the city: The Soviet Past. As the first company of its kind, this is what we exclusively focus on.

Berlin´s unique 20th century history is well known worldwide. The former capital of the national socialist Third Reich was conquered by the Red Army. Shortly afterwards, the three main Western allies joined the Soviet troops in Berlin. The Metropolis became one of the most notorious Cold War hotspots on earth. The Iron Curtain divided the city center in two halves – with the world powers on both sides of the Berlin Wall, representing two completely different systems.

Berlins Taiga is covering this exiting history, focusing especially the Soviet side. Most of the well-known sights in Berlin have a Soviet history as well – even if it is not always recognizable in the first moment.

Berlins Taiga offers tours through the Soviet Past of Berlin. But we also go beyond. Potsdam, once residence of the Prussian Kings, has an exciting “Red History” as well. But we also go even more beyond. Berlin´s hinterland offers many stunning secrets, that wait to be explored. This branch of Berlins Taiga is still in development. Nevertheless, you can get a small insight checking the Instagram profile: “berlins_taiga” (btw, we follow each other on Instagram ;-)) Please notice the small stories we add to each pic. Our current offers one can find on our website: berlinstaiga.com

We would like to invite you joining one of our Berlin tours. We also would like that you think, Berlins Taiga is interesting enough to write about on your blog and social media channels. We really would appreciate it 😉

    Possible dates could be:
Next Friday (March, 10), 10am, Sowjetisches Berlin I – Hinter dem Eisernen Vorhang (German)
Next Saturday (March, 11), 11am, Soviet Berlin II – Through the Red Metropolis (English)
Next Sunday (March, 12), 11am, Soviet Berlin I – Behind the Iron Curtain (German)

Please contact me for further discussion and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any question.

    Many regards,

    Holger
